Legal philosophy is inescapably interwoven into the issue of the relationship between law, morals, and the possibility of practical knowledge. In this respect, legal philosophy in Norway in the 20th century took a path different from the corresponding fields in the neighbouring Scandinavian countries, Denmark and Sweden.
