Meghan Joyce Tozer

pp. 261-270

In this interview with musicologist Meghan Joyce Tozer, film music supervisor, composer, and producer Brian Reitzell discusses his eclectic composition influences and his "collage'-like approach to choosing pre-existing music for film and television. The former punk rock drummer brought his lifelong passion for discovering new musical sounds and blending disparate styles in his close collaborations with writer-director Sofia Coppola on The Virgin Suicides (1999), Lost in Translation (2003), Marie Antoinette (2006), and ">The Bling Ring (2013).
